Aging is inevitable. It’s hard to accept and we don’t have to like it one bit. The good news is that we can take action to slow it down!
As I enter into 47 I feel 50 creeping in closer and closer and I refuse to let this number intimidate me. It’s just a number right?
I am making it my mission to try as many anti-aging solutions out there. I’m taking one for the team and will save you from all the BS gimmicks!
In the meantime, I’d like to share a daily regimen that has worked quite nicely for me. When I stop, I notice a huge difference in the way my skin and body feels. I challenge you to do this for 30 days. Take a photo of yourself, before and after. You WILL see a difference.
Increase your water intake
This is a serious matter. Every client I have seen over the last 18 years has internal dehydration. On top of our usual daily and coffee cocktail (that do not count as your liquid intake btw!) we usually just do not get enough water. Take your weight, divide it in 2 and that’s how many ounces you have to drink. I struggle with dehydration all the time and I don’t even drink coffee or alcohol. After I started drinking an extra 12 ounces beyond my recommended water dosage, it was then that I actually saw a difference.
Getting plenty of water will also reduce puffy eyes and dark circles.
Take collagen powder
My experience with collagen powder is this: When I drink it consistently, my aches and pains diminish. Yeah, I’m talking about achy joints, muscles and probably arthritis. I never thought I would utter those words, but I suppose after the years of abuse from running, ballet, dancing and other fierce workouts, this was bound to happen.
What collagen powder does for my skin…...it feels softer and more plump. Less deflated, more bounce!
Take a Glutathione supplement
Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant and liver support. When your liver is happy, you’ll notice that your hyper-pigmentation will be less pronounced.
Studies are showing a reduction in hyper-pigmentation associated with daily intake of Glutathione or from receiving Glutathione shots.
Cut booze and coffee
I know. Absurd right? Like who do I think I am telling you to cut out your feel goods? We feel nice and relaxed after a glass of vino and then we feel like we can take on the world after one cup of coffee. I remember those days and I loved the temporary sensation they gave me. But it’s temporary. And honestly, is that temporary happy worth your accelerated aging, aches and pains and chronic dehydration that is deteriorating your health? Take a month off and see and feel the difference.
