We are very excited to be one of the first hydradermabrasion facial specialists in the Oakland area! What is hydradermabrasion?
Hydradermabrasion is a gentler approach to resurfacing the skin. The procedure involves lymphatic drainage and deep pore cleansing via vacuum while simultaneously pushing in potent actives, which moisturize, brighten, plump, and protect. The machine's handpiece holds patented spiralized treatment tips equipped with "vortex technology" — a whirling force that drives in product, while deeply exfoliating and suctioning dead skin and debris away. This is very similar to microdermabrasion except that instead of using a gritty sandblast, the sandblasting is done with both waters and serums. And if that isn't enough, the serums are then infused into the skin with oxygen.
One of the biggest problems we face with skin care is dehydration. When the skin is dehydrated, it can be very difficult to perform extractions and to get products to penetrate the skin. If you've ever poured water over dry soil, you can see that it just sits on top of the soil unable to absorb. This is what is happening to your skin. And dehydration will cause your skin to lose elasticity. In my experience, about 98% of our clients are chronically dehydrated. This is caused from not drinking enough water, eating salty foods and drinking caffeinated beverages and alcohol. If you truly want to get serious about improving your skin, drink more water!
For those who have sensitive skin, rosacea, eczema, inflamed acne or are using retin A, Hydradermabrasion is the treatment for you!
For acne, this is a wonderful treatment as we can effectively and painlessly perform extractions with this treatment. You won't have to deal with painful squeezing. This machine softens the skin and the debris in the pores and suctions it all right up!
We will be offering this treatment for $220 per session and will be offering at an introductory price of $200 for the month of March!
We will also have an introductory package that includes 1 Microdermabrasion session and a follow up of Hydradermabrasion for $300. The benefits of doing Microdermabrasion is to remove all the dead layers first and, then do a hydradermabrasion 2 weeks later to detox, slough, oxygenate and juice up the skin!
